Each time Harmonix, the game company based in Massachusetts, releases a stand alone game from their Rock Band series they deliver a great product.
Recently Harmonix released the series fourth game: “Green Day: Rock Band.” It’s the second title with a band specific name. The first was “The Beatles Rock Band.”
However, compared to the Beatles game this Green Day game doesn’t measure up as well. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean the game is bad.
Depending on how you feel about Green Day, like all games that are band specific, you will either love or hate it.

The outing will feature AFI as special guests and kick off in Camden, NJ on August 3. Stops include Boston on August 16 and Dallas on August 26. The trek will wrap up in Irvine, CA on August 31. Released on Friday May 15 instead of the usual Tuesday, 215,000 copies of “21st Century Breakdown” were sold over the first few days of the album’s release, according to the retail sales figures from Nielsen that were reported by Billboard. During the first seven days out, “American Idiot” sold 267,000 copies.
